The Partnership for a Greater Greenwood County is committed to a four-year mission to promote a higher quality of life in the county, through improving capital investment, workforce development and community initiatives.

The primary focus has been to support the Work Force Development activities of the Greenwood Area Chamber of Commerce, with the three goals of getting all students on grade level by the end of 4th grade, increasing the high school graduation rate in Greenwood County, and increasing the availability of job candidates with certifiable skills.

The V. Kann Rasmussen Foundation has been a major contributor to this community improvement partnership.
