The healthcare center’s mission is to bring advanced care to the Greenwood area. By adding and improving facilities and technology, Self will better serve several of the area’s critical long-term health needs.

The Foundation has made a long-term commitment to help expand and upgrade the center. John Pillman, president of Velux Greenwood, stated in the Foundation’s 2004 brochure on our South Carolina grantmaking: “As residents of Greenwood County, we are all very fortunate to have a medical care facility of the caliber of Self Regional Healthcare to serve our medical needs.”
