Natural Resources News Service

The Natural Resources News Service (NRNS), a program of the Public Education Center, is a non-profit news organization that develops environmental news stories that are beyond the reach of the commercial media. Most stories are investigative. NRNS provides the preliminary stories to individual reporters and producers without charge to encourage more enlightened coverage of the environment.

Support from the V. Kann Rasmussen Foundation has enabled NRNS to develop stories on such issues as global climate change, logging, environmental enforcement and special-interest use of science to promote public-policy goals.
